All QCDSA events are free and open to the public! We welcome anyone who wants to learn about us to come to any event that interests you. Most of our meetings are online through Zoom, and some are hybrid with in-person and online participation. Here’s a schedule of our regular meetings:

Chapter Meetings: last Saturday of the month at 2:00pm
Communications & Education Committee: second Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm
International Committee: third Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm
Labor Committee: second Thursday of the month at 6:00pm
Mutual Aid Working Group: first Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm
Trans Rights Working Group: fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm

Debs. Written 1907 by labor organizer and perennial presidential candidate of the Socialist Party of America, Debs deals with big questions as relevant now as it was back then: what power are in labor unions? How can unions organize around issues outside the workplace? Why should socialism matter to workers? How can the socialist party unite with the labor movement to achieve shared goals? This short pamphlet is in the public domain and can be found here; please read the entire work and be prepared to discuss it at the meetup (it only takes around 45-60 minutes to read). •	23	24	25 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire March 25, 2026 On this day in 1911, the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory in New York City caught fire, killing 146 workers, mostly Jewish and Italian immigrant women and children who were locked inside the building during working hours to prevent walkouts. The fire led to better fire safety standards and the growth of the labor union ILGWU, now known today as UNITE HERE.
